MY-COMIND INC. is a software company in Kitchener, Ontario. We build a continuity platform for people whose work happens through recurring one-to-one conversations — starting with startup mentors and the acceleration programs they work inside. Both founders are engineers. We have a logo, a colour palette and a website. What we do not have is anything we can put in someone's hand. Who the materials have to convince The person receiving the card is one of these: A program lead at an accelerator, incubator, Regional Innovation Centre or university venture program — someone who may later decide whether to put institutional money into software from a company they just met at an event A startup mentor — an experienced operator, often volunteering their time Both see a lot of early-stage companies. These pieces need to read as a credible B2B software company, not a consumer app and not a side project. Sober and confident beats bold and playful.

Scope of work

What we are asking for Print-ready business cards and a one-page leave-behind, designed on our existing brand, ready to send to a printer. We are about to start attending innovation-ecosystem events across Ontario, where the whole interaction is a short conversation and then handing someone something. Right now we hand them nothing. This is a focused, self-contained design project. It is not a rebrand, a logo redesign, or a copywriting job. 1. Business cards Double-sided design, two variants — one per founder Print-ready PDF: CMYK, 300 dpi, correct bleed and crop marks A packaged file set a Canadian print supplier will accept without questions A short note on the stock and finish you recommend, and roughly what it should cost to print — we have not bought printing before Editable source file 2. Event leave-behind (one-pager) Layout and design of our existing one-page product overview as a double-sided letter-size printed leave behind We supply all the words. Your work is layout, hierarchy, typography and the use of one or two product screenshots Print-ready PDF to the same specification as above A second on-screen version of the same design, sized and compressed for emailing Editable source file 3. Source file handover All editable working files, organised and sensibly named A list of every font used, with its licence Export settings, so we can produce these files again ourselves without you

Submission details

1. Print experience. Real print-ready work in your portfolio — correct bleed, CMYK, files a supplier accepted. Screen-only portfolios are a risk on this project. 2. Relevant work — B2B, software or professional services. Consumer and retail work is lovely and is not what we need. 3. You understood the audience — a proposal referencing institutional or B2B readers ranks above one that does not.
