Dreamscript is a web-based storytelling web application where users create branching stories and visual narratives. We need a backend developer experienced with JavaScript (Node.js) or TypeScript to build a secure, scalable backend that supports user accounts, story data, and content sharing. The goal is to prepare the app for a functional and secure MVP launch.

Scope of work

Goals / Deliverables: Develop backend architecture using Node.js or TypeScript Implement user authentication and authorization Integrate with a database (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase) Apply security best practices (encryption, validation, secure APIs) Prepare for deployment (Render, AWS, or Vercel) Provide documentation and setup instructions

Preferred Skills or Experience
