Local Platform (localplatform.co) is a community platform designed to help people discover and engage with local businesses and events. We currently support free, public, and private events. The next stage of our platform includes enabling organizations and businesses to host and manage paid and ticketed events. We are seeking developer assistance to help implement payments functionality and improve our internal tools for event management.

Scope of work

Payment Integration + Integrate Stripe Connect into our existing Go (Golang) API. + Support payments for ticketed events (single and multiple ticket types). + Ensure compliance with Stripe’s requirements for connected accounts. + Admin Panel Enhancements Extend current admin functionality to allow management of paid events. + Add tools for event organizers to view and manage ticket sales. + Provide reporting features (high-level sales, transactions, payouts). Deliverables + Functional Stripe Connect integration tested in staging and production. + Updated admin panel with event payment and ticketing management. + Documentation for ongoing maintenance and feature expansion.

We are a very early stage startup and looking for a realistic, project-based budget. We are open to hourly or milestone-based arrangements depending on developer preference.
