We’re a startup called Innovate-Ops, focused on developing an industrial monitoring device that helps factories track equipment health, energy use, and performance. As we get ready for a seed round in the next few months, we’re looking to start a small-scale bookkeeping project to organize our financial records and build a foundation for future collaboration. We’ve begun capturing invoice images in Wave and use HubSpot as our CRM, and we’re open to recommendations on how to set things up more efficiently.

Scope of work

Review and record approximately 150 transactions (materials, contractor payments, and miscellaneous expenses) Organize our current financial records into a clear, structured system Set up a basic bookkeeping workflow or system we can continue using going forward Suggest efficient tools or processes based on our use of Wave and HubSpot Ensure the setup is scalable and easy to maintain Work within a budget-conscious environment, with potential for future ongoing work if this collaboration is successful

Preferred Skills or Experience

Experience with small business or startup bookkeeping preferred. Familiarity with tools like Wave, HubSpot, or similar platforms is a plus. Looking for someone detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently. Experience setting up scalable bookkeeping systems and advising on basic financial processes is also appreciated.
