Submit an RFP to clients

Freelancers can use this page to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) to potential clients. Simply fill out the form with your details and project scope, and your proposal will be sent directly to the client. This is a great way to showcase your skills and secure new work opportunities.

Vetted talent

Once you have successfully completed a project, submit the project completion form to update its status. This ensures transparency and allows clients to see that the work has been finalized. It also helps maintain a record of completed projects for future reference.

Update job award status

If you’ve been selected for a job board award or a community project, use the status update form to confirm your awarded status. Keeping this information up to date helps clients and the community track project progress and recognize top talent.

These are the freelancer hub questions that come up most often. Take the time to read these helpful responses to get you started.

What is the Freelancer Hub on Gig Marketplace? 

The Freelancer Hub is a space where Gig Marketplace freelancers can submit project proposals, confirm being awarded a project, or mark a project as complete. Freelancers can also use this hub to check out the Gig Marketplace calendar of events and access Gig Marketplace resources, blogs, and workshop details. (Note, the freelancer hub is only for non-grant funded projects. Grant funded projects have their own unique processes that do not involve the Freelancer Hub.) 

You will receive an email notification from the client directly stating that you have been awarded the project.  

Yes, once the client has received all of the project deliverables and acknowledges the project is complete, you can mark the project as complete using the Freelancer Hub forms.  

Gig Marketplace offers in person networking events, blogs, workshops, and other practical resources to Gig Marketplace freelancers.
